Penance 

I’m pleased to share with you my work ‘Penance‘.

The work deals with our current point in history in which we find ourselves.

Our digital lives increasingly separating us from each other but also from our intrinsic connection to  the natural world.

The long standing Hypha Studios launched an art sales platform just over a year ago, and they have selected ‘Penance‘ to be featured.

8th edition of Freudian Bites

I was invited to be the guest artist for the 8th edition of Freudian Bites, an intimate supper club spearheaded by renowned curator and food anthropologist Huma Kabakci.

We explored dichotomies within the rituals of gratitude vs erasure, inclusion vs violence, assimilation vs adaptation, and what it means to be an immigrant in the politics of today. We looked at how privilege intersects within our own experiences and the experiences of others.
